Mrs. Nancy C Russell 725 Michigan Blvd. Pasadena Calif. Dear Mrs. Russell: All the help that we can get will be none too much when it comes to placing the Russell statue in the Nat. Hall of Fame. Won’t you advise me freely? I am receiving suggestions accompanied by applications but I do so want thoughts that are sincere. That Montana is to be represented in that hall of art means much but when our state is represented by an artist – well, that representation must be the best, that’s all. Believe me when I say that I am very earnest in my desire to serve my state and also do justice to the memory of a man who looked about him + from the things most people passed by, created a monument to civilization. That you had a part in that I know and I ask you to aid us, if you will, in carrying out the work ahead of us. Very sincerely, Vesta O. Robbins Belt, Mont. May 31st P.S. – I wish I might see you. We’ll you visit Great Falls? V.O.R.
